BIG BAMBOO LOUNGE - Summer 98'

Well the big Bamboo Lounge is more of a MASH 4077th officers club than a tiki bar, it does have that 50's feel, and it is cozy. It used to be just a regular house, but some time ago in the early 70's as far as I could tell, someone remodeled it into a bar. It has so much character and so many nick naks which make it interesting. there is no a/c tho, and being in Florida this sometimes could be a problem. The bartender, the night I was there was not especially friendly and the locals seemed to dislike tourists aswell. Most likely this is due to the fact big bamboo is in the heart of the Disney area, and I can understand being pretty sick of all the visitors. Big Bamboo is no Hali Kahiki but it is something to see, stop by if your in the hood. While dean and I were at big bamboo we met an ausiee named shane, very friendly guy, we told many a story. we blew off shane the following day as we woke up late and just figured he went on a walk-a-bout.
